Blair Wallis Trail Ride Rules

1. All ride participants and their vehicles must be registered.

2. Management reserves the right to qualify each rider’s ability and to excuse any rider from activities beyond their skill level.

 

3. All riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or chaperone in camp and on the ride. No minors may be left in camp unattended.

 

4. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the trail.

5. All riders must stay behind the trail boss or pace setter.

6. No rough riding or racing permitted.

7. Stallions are not permitted.

8. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the trail. In camp, pets must be contained or on a leash at all times.

9. No riding double except as approved by management.

10. No motorized vehicles (ATVs, motorbikes, mopeds, scooters, golf carts) or bicycles allowed on the trail.

11. Riders must be able to ride without the assistance of others.

12. To warn other riders, a horse prone to kicking must have a red ribbon tied at the top of its tail.

13. All horses should be appropriately shod or trimmed.

14. All horses should be fit and conditioned.

15. In accordance with the Wyoming State Department of Agriculture/Animal Health Commission, no horse will be allowed on the premises without the following:

 

Health Certificate – issued within 30 days, by a licensed veterinarian from the horse’s state of origin. Wyoming State Veterinarian Office phone number is (307) 777-6443

 

Negative Coggins test certificate (test for Equine Infectious Anemia) – Dated no earlier than 30 August 2008.

 

Brand Inspection – Permanent/Life Time Brand Inspection from neighboring States is honored in Wyoming. Wyoming State Brand Inspection Office phone number is (307) 777-7515.

 

16. No smoking while riding on the trail. Smoking allowed in designated areas only.

17. No ponied or loose horses allowed on ride except as approved by management.

18. No firearms.

19. No fireworks.

20. All riders must provide management with a signed liability release waiver.

21. In case of emergency, immediately contact the trail boss.
